Nissan's Feel Electric Festival Begins Tomorrow!

Nissan’s Feel Electric festival will transform Covent Garden into a Japanese-themed garden, with displays of cherry blossom trees, two Japanese Kabuki Street performances, and lots of exciting activities for the public to enjoy.

From 10:30 am tomorrow until Sunday 30th July, Covent Garden’s East Piazza will showcase Nissan’s feel Electric Festival and Formula E lab. Attendees will experience an introduction to the world of Formula E from Nissan’s own race experts. They will also be able to test their skills on one of the several race car simulators, or compete in a head-to-head race using their brain power.

As well as having the opportunity to partake in the immersive experience of Formula E, you will also be able to grab a photo with virtual images of Nissan Formula-E team drivers, Sacha Fenestraz and Norman Nato!

Outside the incredible cherry blossom garden, alongside the impressive Nissan Formula E GEN3 race cars, will be the chance for the public to sample complimentary Sakura themed Sushi. Open to the public, this Japanese treat will be served to guests in the chill out zone – with the choice of booking your table in advance or taking a chance and turning up on the day.

On Friday and Saturday night from 8:45 pm, by the Formula E lab and open for everyone to see, will be an immersive Kabuki inspired Japanese dance and music performance.

As well as the festival, to further mark the arrival of the Nissan Formula E team in the city, on Thursday 27th July, Londoners will be able to witness City Hall be transformed into a Nissan race helmet through an impressive projection.

Tuesday 10:30am - 8:00pm

Wednesday and Thursday 10:00am - 8:00pm

Friday and Saturday 10:00am - 9pm

Sunday 10:00am – 8:00pm
