Following the success of the new, innovative e-POWER system on the Qashqai last year, Nissan has manufactured a special version of its iconic third generation crossover, to give the vehicle a striking new look.

Stylish Exterior

Whilst the Qashqai Kuro Edition is based upon the N-Connecta, it includes some new features such as: glass roof pack, 18” black gloss alloy wheels, illuminated kicking-plates, a wireless charging pad, and of course e-POWER!

Additionally, the Qashqai Kuro comes in three two tone paint combinations: a redefined black roof with either a Storm White or Ceramic Grey body, or a grey roof with a Pearl Black body.

Created through a collaboration between Nissan Design Europe and Nissan’s design hub in central London, the inspiration behind the Qashqai Kuro is to showcase Qashqai’s design appeal, and offer a stylish option to Qashqai’s already popular line up.

Tech Control

When the Nissan Qashqai Kuro is purchased, the owner has the option of adding an optional ‘Tech Assist Pack’ for a further £1,030. The optional Tech Assist Pack includes a full range of advanced safety features such as, a head-up display and full LED lights and adaptive driving beams.

e-POWER System

At the centre of the new Nissan Qashqai Kuro is of course the innovative e-POWER system. What sets this powertrain apart is that the wheels are only powered by the electric motor, giving it an instant and linear response. E-POWER represents a significant alternative to traditional hybrid vehicles, eliminating the need to ever recharge.

The Qashqai e-POWER system was developed to deliver an effortless, responsive, and smooth driving experience, reminiscent of a pure EV. The Nissan GB marketing director Nic Thomas stated, “customers are responding incredibly well to Qashqai e-POWER, they are enjoying the smoothness of the electric drive and the convenience of a petrol engine which recharges the battery on the go. Qashqai Kuro Edition with e-POWER is delivering a stylish and eye-catching special version to an already efficient and comfortable drive.”

The new Qashqai Kuro Edition with e-POWER is now available to order at Holdcroft, with prices starting from £36,945.
