We understand that ensuring your vehicle is performing at its best at all times is your priority and we’d like to offer a range of services to assist you with this. This guide will show you what we can offer you and how you can benefit from our manufacturer approved aftersales departments.

We at Holdcroft MG are proud of our reputation as professional, knowledgeable people who really care about you and your car. Our Service teams are made up of dedicated individuals who are trained to the highest standards as required by each manufacturer, allied to a wealth of knowledge across many different brands, which means you can be sure of the best possible experience every time you leave your car in our care.

Our standard service plan covers our standard schedule service regime, set at 15,000 miles/12 months, giving you the option for peace of mind maintenance for up to 5 year/75,000 miles.
However, for any new MG less than a year old (and under 10,000 miles before the first scheduled service), you have an additional option. The new Low Mileage Service Plan is capped at 10,000 miles per year and is aimed at customers who annually complete less than 10,000 miles. This reduces the need to replace some components, which may not have deteriorated with mileage and can go to their anticipated age tolerance, and therefore makes the plan much more cost effective.
An MG Service Plan covers the replacement cost of all scheduled parts, including the labour cost. Any items which at the time of servicing, your MG Dealer advises for replacement outside of the scheduled service items (e.g. brakes, tyres, wiper blades etc.) will be at an additional cost.
All MG Dealers should register your cars' service onto our national online database - DSR. That way we can see that your car is serviced correctly at the appropriate times and allows us or your dealer to remind you when your next service is due.
An extension to your Roadside Assistance
When your cars' service is entered onto our Digital Service Record system by your MG Service team, it enables MG to top up your existing MG Assistance with exactly the same great peace of mind cover you enjoyed from Day 1, for another 12 months*!
A little gift to say thank you
Once your service is completed and your MG Dealer has uploaded your details onto our Digital Service Record system, as a way of a thank you, they will hand you a special edition Morris the Bear.^ Our lovable mascot is named after the founding name of MG - Morris Garages - and changes each year to make him a cute collectable.
*12 months MG Assistance is supplied by The AA and available for any MG model (excluding MG TF) first registered in the UK on or after 01.04.2011. Terms & Conditions of cover can be found here, with contact details found on your MG service document wallet provided by your MG Dealer. This excludes Motability owned vehicles which have existing roadside assistance cover supplied by The RAC for the duration of the lease agreement, details of which can be found in your agreement or by contacting Motability. MG Assistance cover supplied by the AA, for a 12-month period from the date of dealer upload. The policy covers the vehicle, not the owner. Participating Dealers and Authorised Repairers only. Customers should speak to their MG Dealer or Authorised Repairer to confirm participation in the programme.
^From 1st July 2021, Morris the Bear gifts should be handed over to you by your MG Dealer once the service is completed. (Cars serviced prior to 1st July, the bear gift was posted from MG, once the digital service record was uploaded by the MG Dealer). Available from participating MG Dealers and Authorised Repairers. Customers should speak to their MG Dealer or Authorised Repairer to confirm participation in the programme.
All new MGs come with a comprehensive manufacturer warranty as standard, along with an extensive anti-perforation and paint warranty.
Our vehicles are designed to the highest standards and then rigorously tested to ensure that nothing should go wrong. In the unlikely event that something does go wrong with your MG, you have complete peace of mind with your warranty.

What’s more, when you buy any accessory from your MG dealer, it will be covered by our 12-month parts & accessory warranty. So, in the unlikely occurrence that any manufacturing or material defect occurs within 12 months from the date of purchase, we will replace it for you free of charge**.
