Holdcroft showcases Volvo at the Staffordshire County Show
Added: 22 May 2018
Holdcroft Volvo Stoke will be showcasing the latest Volvo models when it attends the Staffordshire County Show on Wednesday 30th and Thursday 31st May.
Taking place at the county showground in Stafford, the show, which began in 1800, is one of the UK’s leading agricultural shows and is set to attract around 65,000 visitors.
Volvo has always been a firm favourite among the farming community and on display will be the newly launched XC40 which arrived earlier this year at the retailer’s site at Leek Road, Hanley.
The premium compact SUV will sit alongside the popular V40 and V40 Cross Country, the high performance V60 Polestar, the versatile V90, the latest generation XC60 launched last summer, and the luxury family SUV XC90. The Holdcroft team will be on hand to provide information to show-goers.
Commented general manager Qashem Miah: “We first attended the show last and it was such a huge success for us that we are returning this year. It is an important event for one of our key audiences where we can reach a huge number of people from the town and further afield. There’s always a high level of interest in our latest models and with Volvo’s new product line-up with vehicles such as the XC60, XC90 and XC40, we expect even more people to visit us at our stand.
“It’s vitally important for us that we support events in our local community and the show provides us with the opportunity to highlight the brand to people who may not have considered a Volvo in the past.”
Volvo Car UK has a long-standing relationship with the farming sector and runs an affinity scheme providing exclusive offers on purchases through both the National Farmers Union and Fram Farmers, the farming cooperative.
