The Nissan Micra event is here!
From the 15th - 20th April 2019 Holdcroft Nissan is all about the Micra. Since 1982 the Micra has changed signficantly with a whole exterior face lift and interior upgrade. There has been 5 generations of Micra since it's launch and for the past 36 years has undergone major sugery.
First Generation Micra (1982)
The car was initally launched as a 1 Litre aluminium engine, great for a little run around city car in crowded streets. First released in the Japanese market the Micra challenged the Honda City, Suzuki Cultus and the Toyota Starlet. The body style was originally designed for their rival Fiat.
Second Generation Micra (1992)
The K11 changed slightly and is the model most consumers recognize today. This generation won several awards and was the first Japanese car to win ‘European Car of the Year’.
Third Generation (2002)
The K12 was revealed at the Paris Motor Show in 2002, drastically re-designed the new curvy interior included wider headlights and distinctive new shell. The K12 was well received by the motor industry and set a new standard for the superminis.
Fourth Generation (2010)
The fourth generation Micra was originally going to be called W02A and later changed to K13 after being revealed at the International Geneva Motor Show. The K13 was sold in over 160 markets and available in a 4-door hatchback.
Fifth Generation (2017-Present)
The New Micra we all know and love today is a complete re-design when we look back. Its expressive exterior design complements its curves and sporty look. Now a technology leader, the Nissan Micra includes Intelligent Lane Intervention and a BOSE audio system to create a 360 degree sound experience.
