Hyundai Service and Warranty Statement during COVID-19 restrictions

Can you confirm that warranty claims will be honoured due to any delay during the period any servicing does not take place where the UK is under Government measures.
• We are extending the warranty expiration date by up to 3 months for those vehicles due to expire in March, April and May (we will continue to monitor this, depending on the length of lockdown)
• We are extending the servicing period with open ended time and up to 1,500 miles over the service interval (we will take a pragmatic view of this for key workers etc. on a case by case basis)

• We have taken the decision to extend our customer’s roadside assistance cover by a further 3 months for those soon to expire 
• This will cover all customers: within the 5 year warranty period, warranty covered SARA & eSENSEtials SARA

  • Provide a fully inclusive quote only after agreeing the work required with you.
  • Agree a time when your vehicle will be ready for collection.

During the service

  • Make sure that only expertly trained Hyundai technicians carry out work on your vehicle.
  • Check for any updates recommended by Hyundai and perform these without charge.
  • Provide a professional recommendation if we identify any parts that need to be replaced.
  • Obtain your permission before replacing any parts.
  • Use only genuine Hyundai parts, all of which carry a two year, unlimited mileage guarantee..
  • Contact you via your preferred method to confirm when your car is

When you collect

  • Fully explain your invoice to ensure you understand exactly what work has been undertaken.

Following your visit

  • Do all in our power to call you within three days of your visit, so that we can monitor customer satisfaction and continually improve the service we provide to you.
