In the following categories:

- Best Small Electric Car - MG4
- Best Hot Hatch - Hyundai i20 N
- Best Seven-Seater - Hyundai Santa Fe
- Best Small SUV For Value - Dacia Duster

Both the Honda Civic and Honda Jazz continue to prove its credentials in the automotive industry, winning the ‘Best Small Car of the Year’ for Jazz and the ‘Best Family Car of the Year’ for the Civic.
Honda Jazz is a small car that’s big on features, including anti-fatigue seats, a large carrying capacity of up to 1205 litres with ‘magic seats’, and an infotainment system with seamless smartphone integration via both Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.
"The Civic has the measure of all its family car rivals, not least due to its low running costs, effortless performance and smart interior. That interior is one of the most spacious in the class, too, and features some of the most user-friendly controls. And the Civic is great to drive, because its steering is precise, and the suspension manages to blend tight body control with a settled ride." Steve Huntingford, What Car? Editor

MG4 winning the ‘Best Small Electric Car’ - recognised as a trusted, independent and expert voice in car reviewing, What Car? Praised the MG4 as offering excellent value for money without compromising on quality.
“Given the rising cost of living, and the fact that electric cars tend to be quite expensive to buy, the MG4 EV – with its very keen pricing – feels like the right car at the right time. The MG4 offers fast charging, plenty of space and lots of standard equipment. What's more it's good to drive and comes with the reassurance of a seven-year warranty." What Car? Judging Panel

Hyundai’s impressive start to 2023 has continued with two of its key models picking up the wins – Hyundai i10 N as the ‘Best Hot Hatch Car’ and Hyundai Santa Fe as the ‘Best Seven-Seater Car’
The What Car? team of expert judges named the i20 N as the number one choice in the fiercely fought ‘Hot Hatch of the Year’ category, while the SANTA FE SUV was crowned ‘Seven-Seater of the Year’ and recognised as the ‘Best Plug-in Hybrid for Big Families’.
The Hyundai i20 N, which is priced from £25,750 and is powered by a turbocharged 204ps 1.6-litre T-GDi engine, has attracted a string of rave reviews since its introduction in 2021, thanks to a compelling blend of thrilling performance and pin-sharp handling.
“The awards from What Car? are particularly pleasing as they illustrate the depth of Hyundai’s current range of vehicles. Our N cars have created a massive impact in a short space of time, and the i20 N is a fantastic example of an exciting performance model that can be comfortably driven on a daily basis, while the SANTA FE offers a fantastic blend of practicality, comfort and electrification for SUV customers”. Ashley Andrew, Managing Director of Hyundai Motor UK

Dacia Sandero - gives you more for less, a generous boot and interior space giving you plenty of room to store life's essentials

“What better way to start the year than to receive three accolades at the 2023 What Car? Car of the Year Awards. I’m proud that Dacia’s unrivalled value has once again been officially recognised. It’s not only the price of our vehicles that has secured these awards though, as the expert decisions of the What Car? judges reflect the unrivalled combination of quality and value that increasing numbers of car buyers are seeing in our brand today. With last year’s sales up 55% compared to 2021 in the UK, it’s more apparent than ever that our commitment to innovatively redefining the essentials is really hitting home with drivers.” Luke Broad, Dacia Brand Director for the UK
