The all-new Renault Scenic e-tech 100% electric is the latest step in Renault’s plan to deliver an innovative lineup of next generation models. It is described by Renault to be “designed around families and their need to travel freely and safely, with an increasing awareness of sustainability.”
Exterior
The new Renault Scenic E-Tech has a fresh and modern appearance, blending the practicality of the MPV with the more SUV-derived elements to create a unique package that sets it apart from previous models. Carrying the latest Renault branding, the Scenic E-Tech 100% electric features a bold, minimalist logo in the centre of an array of superimposed small diamonds – that appear and disappear depending on the ‘light and angle’.
Engine
The new electric platform features an ultra-thin battery, and very low centre of gravity, which is all combined with a strong and responsive 220 hp electric motor. The Scenic E-Tech 100% electric also includes a heat pump for optimising its thermal management and preserving its 370 miles driving range. The Scenic E-Tech 100% electric can be charged using AC or DC power, a domestic socket, or a fast-driving point.
Home Charging Solutions

On-the-road charging solutions
Using the Mobilize charge pass, you can charge your new Scenic E-Tech 100% electric with ease using the public charging network. When you are travelling, the My Renault App immediately locates the closest available charger, as well as the power level, charging prices, and type of socket available. All you have to do is follow the indicated route, and use your pass to start charging at the charging point.
Interior
The interior of the Scenic E-Tech 100% has been created with the passenger in mind. Available space is optimised through a flat floor, that provides over 38L of storage space. The rear seats also give you ample comfort, with 27.8 cm of knee room and 88.4 cm of head room. The rear armrests are described as, ‘smart rear armrests’, as they feature 2 USB-C ports and inductive wireless chargers for your mobile phone. Several configurations are also possible, so you can connect all your electronic devices. There is also more than enough luggage space, with a boot capacity of 1,670 L, when the rear bench seat is folded down.
Additionally, the Scenic E-Tech features an adjustable Solarbay sunroof, that comes with four different combinations to choose from. With a surface area of 1.65 m, it can be activated through touch or voice control – guaranteeing you optimum visual and thermal comfort in all circumstances.
Tech Control
The driver is able to enjoy a relaxing drive safe in the knowledge that the route calculation system incorporates charging point locations, and suggests an optimised route based on the battery charged level. The Scenic E-Tech 100% electric also comes equipped with real time navigation, voice control, and more than 50 apps.
Safety Features
For a safer drive, safety score analyses the speed, trajectory, and safety distance data and issues a driving score after every journey. The safety coach also notifies the driver of potential hazards along the driver’s route in real time, based on the surrounding data.
The Scenic E-Tech 100% electric also comes with 28 other advanced driver assistance systems with the human first program. These assistance systems include adaptive cruise control, which maintains your speed and helps you to maintain safe distances from other vehicles, and a 360-degree view 3D camera, which enables the driver to complete their manoeuvres safely.
