Since its launch in 2021, the ARIYA has represented Nissan’s bold vision for the future of electric mobility, combining impressive performance, a smooth and quiet drive and a spacious, lounge-inspired interior. Now, the latest updates build on those strengths to deliver an even more premium driving experience.

Refreshed Design Inspired by Japanese Futurism

The 2026 ARIYA evolves Nissan’s “Timeless Japanese Futurism” design philosophy with a cleaner, more seamless front-end appearance. A redesigned body-colour front panel and updated V-Motion signature give the ARIYA a striking yet minimalist look, reinforcing its confident EV identity.

Newly designed 19-inch alloy wheels add a refined contrast to the exterior, while a new Plasma Green paint option joins the expanded colour palette, inspired by natural light phenomena.

Inside the cabin, the ARIYA continues to offer a calm and premium atmosphere, now featuring a redesigned centre console with increased storage space and the latest generation 15W wireless charger.

Smarter Technology for Everyday Electric Driving

The 2026 ARIYA now comes equipped with the latest NissanConnect with Google built-in, creating an even more connected driving experience.

Drivers can simply say, “Hey Google, navigate to Edinburgh Castle,” and Google Maps will automatically plan the most efficient route, including charging stops based on real-time battery levels.

The system can also intelligently pre-condition the battery before arriving at a charging station, helping achieve the fastest possible charging speeds.

Using the NissanConnect Services app, drivers can monitor battery status, manage charging sessions, adjust cabin climate settings and even check tyre pressures directly from their smartphone.

Faster Charging and Vehicle-to-Load Capability

The updated ARIYA features an 11kW bi-directional onboard charger and supports Vehicle-to-Load (V2L) technology, allowing external devices to be powered directly from the vehicle.

Whether powering an electric cooker while camping or charging a laptop on the move, the ARIYA can deliver up to 3kW of power when stationary.

For rapid charging, the ARIYA supports DC charging speeds of up to 130kW, helping reduce charging times and making longer journeys easier than ever.

Enhanced Comfort and Driver Assistance

Nissan has also refined the ARIYA’s suspension tuning to improve ride comfort, reduce vibrations and deliver even smoother long-distance driving.

The latest ProPILOT driver assistance systems have been updated too, offering improved adaptive cruise and stop-start traffic support with quicker response times and smoother adjustments to reduce driver fatigue.
