The new Renault Arkana E-Tech full hybrid combines striking looks with efficiency. Designed as a hybrid from the ground up, the Arkana truly showcases the success of the Renaulution strategy, that aims to reconquer the C-segment alongside popular models, the all new Megane E-Tech 100% electric and the new Austral E-Tech full hybrid. The Arkana E-Tech full hybrid boasts a full hybrid 145 hp new generation powertrain, that has reduced CO2 emissions whilst displaying a crisp and responsive acceleration for up to 620 miles of driving range. In town you can drive in electric mode for up to 80% of your journey time, whilst the battery charges automatically when you decelerate and brake - meaning charger anxiety is eliminated, as there is no need to plug in.
Inside the Renault Arkana E-Tech, passengers are greeted with a well designed interior that has 21 cm of knee room. It’s not only the interior that offers lots of space, the boot also has a loading area of up to 480 L that is sure to meet all of your needs. If this is still not enough space, the modular 1/3 - 2/3 rear bench seat allows you to increase your loading volume by up to 1,263 L by just folding the seat down. The capacity is easily adjusted using the movable floor.
In order to ensure a safe driving experience, the Renault Arkana also comes equipped with up to 18 advanced driver-assistance systems. Adaptive cruise control is able to regulate your speed according to the road conditions, maintain a safe distance from surrounding vehicles, and ensures you stay centred in your lane. In addition, when traffic slows down, the Arkana will stop and start again automatically. Starting the Arkana range off at £26,995 OTR, the Evolution boats several impressive features such as C-shaped LED front lighting signature, 17” alloy wheels, tinted rear windows, and automatic headlights with high and low beam settings. Standard equipment on the Evolution trim includes: electronic parking brake, automatic climate control, and a hands free key card. There is also a 7” driver information display, and a 7” Easy Link infotainment system with navigation and wireless smartphone connectivity, with both Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. From the array of Arkana’s comprehensive and reliable driver assistance systems, the Evolution Trim includes a varied amount of helpful tech control including: traffic sign recognition, automatic wipers with rain sensors, and overspeed prevention.
Techno Trim
Coming in at £28,995 OTR, the Techno builds upon the Evolution Trim’s tech control, offering extra equipment such as: blind spot warning, front and rear parking sensors, and electronic parking brake with auto-hold function. The interior also gains some extra features, which include: an auto dimming rear-view mirror, a 10” driver information display, and a 9.3” Easy link portrait display with voice recognition. From the outside, the Techno trim is distinguishable through its 18” alloy wheels, extra-tinted rear windows and tailgate, and distinctive aerodynamic F1 blade on the front bumper.
Esprit Alpine Trim
At the top of the range, the Esprit Alpine Trim is priced at £31,295 OTR, and offers a unique and sporty take on the Arkana E-Tech full hybrid. The exterior of the Esprit Alpine trim adds unique 19” alloy wheels, black door mirrors, a bespoke Esprit Alpine blade, a double exhaust tailpipe in gloss black, and special exterior detailing. The exclusive styling continues with the interior, where you will find special upholstery in bio-based textile fabric/suede with blue stitching, and the Alpine logo. There is also a perforated heated steering wheel with blue, white, and red stitching, that adds an extra level of luxury. The Esprit Alpine trim also includes Renault’s Easy Drive, which adds adaptive cruise control with Stop & Go, and also lane centering assist.
