Design and Interior
Outwardly, in order to provide maximised living-space for its customers, the all-new KONA has increased in size. Gaining 150 mm of length, the KONA is 4,355 mm long, in addition to also gaining 25 mm of width and 60 mm in wheelbase.
Additionally, the KONA has a clean and distinctive front, which contributes to its impressive aerodynamic performance. This front is also highlighted by the stretched Seamless Horizon Lamp, which comes pixelated on the EV variant. This is an element that has never been added to a Hyundai vehicle, further emphasising the distinctive character of this new model.

Despite appearing slightly differently, the Hyundai KONA has not lost any of its iconic and robust SUV design identity, keeping its boldly sculpted wheel arch cladding that incorporates headlamps and rear lights.
Inside the KONA is just as impressive. The larger body of the new KONA, makes it more accommodating, providing an adaptable living space for not only the driver, but the passengers as well. In addition, the second-row Curve-less Bench Seat reinforces the more modern aesthetic desired for by Hyundai, offering a unique experience of maximum usability.

As well as having a large ‘living-space,’ the KONA also has maximised cargo space, that is located behind the second row. Additionally, the column-shift-by-wire has also been adapted to create ample uncluttered space for the drivers’ belongings, being relocated from the centre console to behind the steering wheel.
Tech Control
Within the Hyundai KONA, there is a variety of impressive state-of-the-art tech control, allowing the driver to enjoy connectivity, handy convenience features, such as a digital key, as well as important safety and driver-assistance systems.

The safety and driver assistance systems include:
Forward Collision-Avoidance Assist (FCA System): The FCA System automatically brakes if the vehicle ahead slows down or spots pedestrians on the road, using a radar and camera.
Blind Spot Collision-Avoidance Assist (BCA): The BCA System can warn the driver of traffic in the blind spot area, using two radar sensors located in the lower, rear bumper. If the turn indicator is on in a dangerous situation, the KONA will sound an acoustic alert and apply the brakes if necessary to prevent an accident.
Intelligent Speed Limit Assist (ISLA): When activated, this clever feature can recognise road signs and adjust your vehicle speed to match the speed limit.
The new KONA is the first Hyundai model to have the new Connected Car Navigation Cockpit, as well as Over The Air software updates for every system in the car.
