Dacia Reveals All-New Duster!

Dacia has unveiled the all-new Duster ahead of its official launch next year, claiming that it is the “best bargain on the market”, after including the model’s first ever electrified powertrains.

Exterior

The exterior of the new Dacia Duster is in keeping with its rugged, utilitarian look – with influence being taken from the Bigster concept. Whilst the new Duster retains the front-end design of the current Duster model, the headlights are now much slimmer and neatly integrated into the grille.

The tough-looking cladding down the side of the new Duster is made of Starkle, a sturdy plastic made up of 20% recycled materials.

The alloy wheels start at 17” and rise to 18 on higher-spec cars.

The rear of the new Duster showcases a much more modern look than the current design, with triangular taillights smartening the model up. In addition, it has a sloping roofline, which makes the SUV look sportier.

With up to 217 mm of ground clearance, an angle of approach greater than 30-degrees to climb various terrains in 4-wheel drive, and scratch resistant materials, the All-New Duster is still faithful to its SUV DNA, whilst displaying impressive new capabilities.

Interior

It’s not just the exterior of the new Duster that has been revamped; the interior has also been completely redesigned as well – showcasing a much more modern design than the current model.

The all-new Dacia Duster comes equipped with more space inside – with an increase in legroom at the back, and a lower boot floor that is wider and higher.

Dacia has stated that ‘comfort starts with a completely stress-free driver’ – which is shown through the added amenities included in this new model. Amenities include: an electric parking brake for the Expression trim, door mirrors with an electric adjusting and folding mechanism for the Extreme and Journey trims, as well as a heated steering wheel and de-icing system in the windscreen.

Versions of the new Dacia Duster that come equipped with Media Display and Media Nav Live, will also feature a new YouClip accessory item. The YouClip is a brand new 5-point attachment system that enables you to attach your phone, Dacia’s 3-in-1 accessory (lamp, hook, and cup holder), or any other handy item safely to various spots in the vehicle.

Multimedia and Technology

A new infotainment system with a 10.1-inch center touchscreen is included as standard in the Expression and up and is available with Media Display and Media Nav Live.

The new Dacia Duster has a 7-inch customisable colour digital dashboard, where the driver can choose which information they want to include in its layout. This impressive digital dashboard comes as standard with Expression trim and up.

There is also a wireless smartphone charger in the center console, that comes as standard in all upper trim levels, that is within reach for both passengers at the front.
