Earth Day is an event that is celebrated annually to demonstrate support for environmental protection. It was first held on April 22 1970, and since then it now includes a wide range of events coordinated globally.
This year Holdcroft decided to help contribute to the well being of the environment by taking part in Earth Day. For Earth Day weekend, which was the 23rd and 24th of April, we pledged that for every car we sold we would plant a tree.
This is an initiative that we collaborated with the National Trust with. We would donate money to the National Trust for each car sold during that weekend so that they can plant the trees on our behalf.
As a result, during that weekend, we sold 136 cars which means 136 new trees planted! We are thankful to our customers for helping us support this initiative and we hope to do many more like this in the future.
