The Alzheimer’s Society help in supporting people affected by Dementia. This can be Dementia patients themselves or the families and loved ones of the Dementia patient. The support they provide ranges from telephone, online and face to face. This service can be crucial for some families especially those that have been struggling to look someone with Dementia during these distressing times.

At Holdcroft we recognise and appreciate the hard work that the Alzheimer’s Society does and the vast cost associated in providing these services. That is why this year we decided to participate in #BakeforDementia. Bake for Dementia was a nationwide campaign held between the 25th April and 1st May to fundraise for the Alzheimer’s Society. Holdcroft Head Office and Renault Hanley conducted their bake sale on the 29th and collaboratively raised £93.78!

Just £10 can help connect someone with a caring Dementia Advisor who can help them get the support and expert guidance they need to continue living well with Dementia. We thank all those who took part, whether it was baking delicious cakes or whether it was donating money to eat them. Either way, all donations are going to a worthy cause and will make the world of difference to someone!
