The world’s first mass-market electric vehicle, the Nissan LEAF has received some exciting new updates in time for 2022! The iconic LEAF has received a number of visual upgrades as well as new technology to help make it even more impressive than it already was!

The changes start on the outside, where the new LEAF receives dynamic styling changes, including sharper lines, and new front grille and rear design in order to reflect Nissan’s latest design language, seen across other models. The LEAF continues these updates, with the new Nissan emblem which can be seen on the front and rear, as well as on the steering wheel.

One of the most exciting changes on the new LEAF is the new alloy options, with a choice of two new 16- and 17-inch designs, which really stand out from the crowd with their dynamic and intricate designs. Both reflect the black design of the grille and help to make the LEAF look more premium and athletic.

The colour line up for the leaf has been refreshed too, with choices for everyone, including six monotones, five two tone options and two brand new options for 2022. These new options have been really well received on the ARIYA and Qashqai, hence why Universal Blue and Magnetic Blue will now also be available on the LEAF

A refinement of the highly successful LEAF, the model 2022 also provides a tried-and-tested suite of advanced driving assistance features such as ProPILOT, and infotainment technologies such as the on-board NissanConnect system.

The Leaf is available in two battery options, that can deliver up to 238 miles of range, whilst balancing performance with efficient and relaxing driving. Thanks to the extensive range of driver assistance and connectivity packages, the LEAF is not just easy to drive, but it is comfortable and safe, with 10 years of electric vehicle knowledge being put to good use. This includes ProPILOT technology which is able to automatically stop, start and maintain a safe distance to the vehicle in front, while the innovative e-Pedal provides the option to accelerate, decelerate and stop with only one pedal for maximum comfort on the move.

LEAF 2022 also offers customers a suite of infotainment features within the on-board NissanConnect system, featuring Android Auto and Apple CarPlay smartphone integration. Remote operation of features such as climate control are also available through the NissanConnect app, while customers can link their LEAF to their Amazon Alexa smart home device for added convenience.

The new and improved Nissan LEAF for 2022 is available in the next few weeks, and we can’t wait to see it for ourselves!
