Starting with the integration of MG’s iSMART app, which was first seen on the MG ZS EV, this has now been added to the MG5 EV to allow for the control of various vehicle functions from the comfort of your Smartphone. This means that you can do various things including pre-start the climate controls, scheduling charging and even helping you find your nearest charge point.

The MG5 EV receives a number of updates but one thing that hasn’t been updated Is the impressive 61kWh battery pack, which allows the MG5 EV to travel up to 249 miles on a single charge, although it is now capable of towing up to 500kg. In addition to this, the MG 5 EV is just as practical as ever before thanks to its versatile estate body style and flat folding rear seats.
