The highly anticipated Alpine reveal event previewed their newest model - the Alpine A290_β. From the exterior of the Alpine A290_β, it is clear that inspiration has been taken from racing and Formula 1 cars. From exclusive Michelin tyres, to torque vectoring technology and an aerodynamic rear spoiler, Alpine have ensured that the A290_β blurs the lines between practicality and race cars.
In addition, the A290_β boasts a matt colour scheme with lightweight carbon elements, as well as an aerodynamic body and rear diffuser – symbolising Alpine’s sporty persona.
The interior of the Alpine A290_β is no different, entailing a three-seat design and a steering wheel inspired by the Alpine A523 formula 1 car, equipped with an added ‘overtake button’, for when the driver requires an electrified boost.
The interior also houses blue and magenta LED lights, adding a customisable feature to the cockpit. However, it is not only the driver who has the privilege of viewing the inside of the Alpine A290_β, as the curved windscreen allows onlookers to easily witness the driver take advantage of every element of this impressive vehicle.
