Emmanuel Al Nawakil, the car maker’s vice president of sales and operations, believes that the increase in sales was due to the brand unlocking more capacity at its small Dieppe Jean Rédélé factory, with it being set to hit maximum capacity of producing just over 700 cars a month by the end of this year!

This increase in car sales helped the brand have a 9% year-on-year growth in the first half of 2023, with 183 registrations – this is 159 up than the first half of 2022!
Key to the increase in sales is the success of the top-of-the-range special versions of the Alpine A110. The special version models include, Alpine A110: the original thrill, Alpine A110 GT: Grand Touring by Alpine, Alpine A110 S: Dramatic Sportiness, and Alpine A110 R: The most radical A110. A mix of all of these special models accounted for 77% of all deliveries made in the first half of the year. Alpine also proudly declared that it had sold 73 of all 200 examples of the A110 San Remo edition in just a few days!

The A110 is described as the ‘purest expression of the Alpine driving experience’ – due to its ability to glide effortlessly along any road and corner with astounding agility.
Not only does the A110 have impressive capabilities, it also has amazing exterior styling that has been taken from the legendary Berlinette and combined with modern features to create an incredibly aerodynamic design.
Alpine has also expressed their desire to push towards a fully electric product range by the end of the decade. A recent teaser image (shown below). hinted at 7 new electric vehicles - including the A290 coming next year, and a larger C -Segment Crossover GT. Also, an electric replacement for the A110 is planning to be launched in 2026.
