MG introduces their new electric car MG5 EV Long Range with a fresh design and improved exterior and interior, following their initial release earlier this year in March 2022.

MG5 has recently been recognised as the UK’s 5th best selling electric vehicle in 2022.

MG5 EV Long Range is the second generation of our multi award-winning fully-electric estate car, with up to 250 miles of range. It is adaptable and offers a unique variation of style, space and practicality. This car features a variety of upgrades to its interior, exterior and technology.

Here’s a little bit about the MG5 EV Long Range:

  • This car is available in 2 specifications: the MG5 EV SE and the MG5 EV Trophy and they both come with 61kWh Long-Range battery included as standard.
  • Up to 1367 litres of boot capacity
  • 10.25" colour touchscreen
  • MG iSMART user app for monitoring vehicle status and scheduling charging
  • Vehicle-To-Load (V2L) technology advancement
  • 360degree Parking Camera on the top-spec Trophy Long Range
  • 3 Driving modes (Eco, Normal and Sport) for different driving conditions
  • 7 year/80,000-mile fully transferable warranty as standard

This model has had a new exterior look with redesigned front and rear, which is much cleaner and sleek looking that is instantly recognisable as an MG electric car.  The interior of the model has also had an upgrade with the technology improvements which now includes a 10.25” wide screen infotainment system with updated software, that will support the MG iSmart connected car functionality via the app.

The MG5 EV long range starts with the price of £30,995 OTR and the first deliveries expected before the end of 2022.
