Mazda2 Voted World Car of the Year
From an initial entry of 39 new vehicles fro all around the world, the 2008 WCOTY went to the Mazda2 having edged out the Ford Mondeo and Mercedes Benz to take the overall award.
A jury of 47 international automotive journalists selected the Mazda2 by secret ballot.
The all New Mazda2 was found to reflect the modern attitudes with stylish exterior design complemented by low running costs and excellent fuel economy.
