Hyundai Genesis Coupe - New York Debut!
The Hyundai Genesis which appeared as a concept car late last year has been confirmed as going into production, and may be sold in the UK if there's enough demand.
The stunning looking rear-wheel drive Genesis will be sold with a choice of two exciting engines - a 220bhp two-litre turbo and a naturally-aspirated 306bhp 3.8-litre V6. Both will be available with a six-speed manual gearbox as standard, with automatics (five-speed for the turbo, six-speed for the V6) also on offer as options.
Sales will start in South Korea and North America early in 2009, and there's talk of the Genesis reaching the United Kingdom a few months later.
Tony Whitehorn, Hyundai UK Managing Director has said 'We would love to be able to bring this amazing car to the UK and are keeping a close eye on public reaction to see if there is demand from British driving enthusiasts.'
