Hyundai Created a Storm at the 2007 SEMA Show
In its seventh year at the Specialty Equipment Market Association's (SEMA) show, Hyundai showed off vehicles spanning its entire product portfolio, proving that customization is not just for sport compacts anymore. Hyundai has given its full model range a custom touch for this years event.
The world famous convention held in Las Vegas, Nevada presented six distinct Hyundai vehicles each making their world debut. These included the first-ever Hyundai in-house customized INCUS 'Innovative Customization' Elantra and Mobis 'Parts Expo Vehicle' Tiburon.
Other Hyundai project vehicles which were built by aftermarket tuning companies included the 'High-Tech Urban Escape' Veracruz designed by Troy Lee Designs which was the first-ever modified Veracruz crossover, the 'VIP Luxury Tuner' Azera sedan from Street Concepts, the 'Urban Assault' Accent sub-compact by Ernie Manansala and the Elantra Touring 'Beach Cruiser' Concept by K-Daddyz Kustomz

'Hyundai loves the SEMA show, and we're excited about launching six terrific Hyundais modified by some of the best tuner shops in the world, and by our sister companies INCUS and Mobis,' said John Krafcik, vice-president, product development and strategic planning, Hyundai Motor America. 'This year, SEMA is the U.S. launch pad for our all-new 2009 Elantra Touring, with a K-Daddyz Kustomz creation that builds on the fun and functional nature of this new compact five-door.'
Jenny Bell, Dealer Principal at Holdcroft Hyundai Stoke-on-Trent, said that she was 'thrilled' by the pictures of the show cars and went on 'it's great to see Hyundai innovating in this way and broadening the appeal of the brand to attract younger buyers.'
She went on to say 'here at Holdcroft we offer all types of accessories for the Hyundai model range including the Amica, Getz, Sonata, Grandeur, Tuscon, Santa Fe and of course the fabulous looking Hyundai Coupe.' So whilst these wild customised rides look superb they are mega-bucks show cars. However, personalising your own Hyundai need not be expensive. For a look at Holdcroft Hyundai accessories click on:
