Fifth Gear Test Hyundai i10 - What a Refreshing Change!

Top television motoring programme Fifth Gear on Channel 5 has driven the all new Hyundai i10. What a refreshing change!

In an age where 'real' cars that 'real' people drive everyday are often overlooked by TV journalists - in sharp contrast to the William Woollard approach where programmes revolved around vehicles your mum and dad might pop down to the local showroom to test-drive - most are now filled with tyre-shredding supercars and ridiculous 'tests' that wouldn't look out of place on the 'Last of the Summer Wine'. Did you see the Top Gear caravan programme? Stroll on.

Amusing TV perhaps but about as relevant to helping you choose which car to put on your buying list as a bike to a fish.

Denise Bithell of Holdcroft Hyundai said 'It's great to see an independent review of our new car that will give the public a feel for what the car is really like to drive in the real world.'

So what did they think of the car then? They summarised...

'It's impossible to consider the i10 without coming back to value for money. And, when you look at how much you get for how little, it seems almost churlish to criticise it.

That's not to say the i10 is without its limitations - quite the reverse, in fact - but, crucially, there is no other small car with so much standard equipment for so little money that is less compromised. That may sound like we're damning the car with faint praise, but don't be fooled. The i10 is a decent little car, but the low price makes it an amazing one.'

How about that then? An honest forthright independent review of a cracking small car. To book a test drive or find out more about the new i10 call Holdcroft Hyundai on 01782 283088.
